Summer 2012

Summer has been a long time coming this season but we have it now. The garden is alive with massed agapanthus (my favourite colour) and red hot pokers which the honey-eaters hang from whilst collecting nectar. The baby swallows have left the nest and Mum is beginning again! The plum trees are hanging with a heavy crop and the apples are being shared with the rosella parrots. I am happy with that because they take the top ones which I can't reach.
